The Finding Wonder Oracle
A spread to carry us along each session of The Gathering Path, the Finding Wonder spread is less about divination and more about drawing your attention to particular points along the path. The Finding Wonder spread invokes a sense of playful mindfulness, helping us to strengthen our ability to connect with wonder.
Card One. The Thread of Wonder
This card illustrates an area of magick, of healing, and/or wonder to pay attention to during your journey over the next two weeks along The Gathering Path. You might pull a card representing ancestral wisdom which you might choose to focus on as part of your pathwork. If you like, from this card you can create a simple affirmation to help you keep your focus on the thread of wonder showing up over the next two weeks.
Card Two & Three. The Signs of Wonder
These two cards represent two signs or synchronicities that'll show up during the next two weeks as a way to affirm your work with the theme of the first card. These cards aren’t about interpreting a meaning in the moment (though they certainly may feel meaningful and connected to the first card), but are signs to be on the lookout for over the next two weeks. You might, for example, pull one card with an owl on it and another card with a black cat, and sometime over the next two weeks you might hear an owl sound (including not an actual owl but something like a kid at a table next to you suddenly doing an owl impression) and the image of a black cat pops up in an unexpected but amusing way.
